About The Harvard Crimson's
Crimson Journalism Summit

The Harvard Crimson's CJS is a two-day virtual event for high school reporters of all experience levels. Participants will engage in workshops, simulations, and seminars led by Crimson Editors and Executives across our content boards. Besides learning from experienced college journalists, students will also have the chance to interact with professional journalists—namely, notable Crimson Alumni from top publications such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and more.

By working with our editors as well as fellow attendees, participants will improve their reporting skills, further their interest in journalism, and develop new ideas that they can then implement into their own newspapers. Central to our spring conference is growth; no matter their experience level, journalists will strengthen and advance the reporting and writing skills necessary to effectively run a newspaper!

The theme for this year’s conference is Persisting Forward.

We look forward to seeing you there!

WHAT PAST STUDENTS SAY

“I appreciate all of you for taking the time out of your day. Thank you to everyone who was involved. This was a time of growth and definitely made me think about where I see myself in 10 years (in a good way)!”
